Organic Acacia Fiber Recipies


Yogurt breakfast Drink with Fiber:

  • 16 oz fat free reduced sugar vanilla yogurt
  • 2 (8 oz) containers reduced fat peach yogurt
  • 2 scoops of organic organic acacia fiber
  • 1/2 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1/2 cup fat free milk
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Preparation:

In a blender or food processor, combine the first 5 ingredients; cover and process until smooth.

Add ice cubes; cover and process until smooth. Pour into glasses; serve immediately.



Potato and Onion Fiber Soup:

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 leeks
  • 2 red potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 quarts water
  • 1/4 cup organic organic acacia fiber
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipped cream
  • 3 tbsp chopped fresh chives

Preparation

  • In a heavy 4 quart saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter or margarine and onion until wilted. Add cleaned and sliced leeks, potatoes, water and salt. Bring to boil and simmer, partially covered, for 45 minutes or until potatoes are very tender.
  • Remove from heat and cool if you want. Blend the cooked mixture until smooth. Return to saucepan; add 1/4 cup margarine or butter, organic acacia fiber, cream and chives. Check for seasoning.
Heat mixture but do not boil or the cream will curdle.

Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie:

  • 9 graham crackers, crushed
  • 3/4 cup salted peanuts, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup white sugar (or sugar substitute)
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 2 scoops organic organic acacia fiber
  • 1/4 cup chopped salted peanuts

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In small bowl, mix together crushed graham crackers, 3/4 cup finely chopped peanuts and sugar. Stir in melted butter or margarine. Press mixture into 9 inch pie plate.
  • Bake crust in preheated oven for 8 minutes. Chill.
In a medium mixing bowl, mix ice cream, organic acacia fiber and peanut butter together on medium low speed until combined. Pour mixture into chilled crust. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup chopped peanuts. Freeze for at least 6 hours. Remove from freezer 10 minutes before serving.

 


Home Style Vegetable Beef Soup:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 6 red potatoes, finely diced
  • 5 carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (15 oz) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 cups frozen green beans
  • 1 (46 oz) bottle tomato-vegetable juice cocktail
  • 2 scoops organic acacia fiber
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • In a large pot, over medium heat, cook beef, onion and potatoes, covered, until beef is no longer pink and potatoes are tender, 10-15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, place carrots and 1/2 cup water in microwave safe bowl and microwave on high 5 minutes, until tender.
  • Drain beef mixture and return to pot with carrots, corn, green beans, juice cocktail, water, salt, organic acacia fiber and black pepper.

Preparation

Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes, until flavors are well blended and soup is hot.


Fiber Waffles:

  • 2  cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Organic Acacia fiber
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk (increase milk for thinner batter)
  • 6 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp sugar

Preparation:

  • Preheat waffle iron. In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, organic acacia fiber, sugar and salt.  Stir in milk, oil, vanilla extract and egg yolks until mixture is smooth.
  • In separate bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gently fold egg whites into batter.
  • Spray preheated waffle iron with non stick cooking spray. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown. Serve hot!

Variations:

Add your favorite fruit to the batter!!

Chocolate pudding pie:

  • 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
  • 1 (5.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 tbsp organic organic acacia fiber
  • 1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 10 gummy worms

Preparation

  • Make instant pudding according to directions on box.
  • Add the organic acacia fiber to pudding mix, stir thoroughly
  • Dump pudding into pie crust
  • Spread whipped topping on top of the pudding
  • Refrigerate about 1 hour
Garnish with gummy worms, enjoy!!

 


Chocolate Chip Amaretto Fiber Pound Cake:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (18.25 oz) package of devils food cake mix
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp almond extract
  • 1/4 cup organic organic acacia fiber
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup confectioners sugar for dusting

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bunt pan.
  • Mix eggs, cake mix, oil, water, the almond extract and organic acacia fiber with electric beater. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Pour into prepared pan. Bake approximately 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean.
Cool, then dust with confectioners sugar.

 


Chicken Wild Rice Fiber Soup:

  • 1 cup uncooked wild rice
  • 3 cups diced, cooked chicken breast meat
  • 2 tbsp chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/4 cup organic acacia fiber
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 5 cups water
  • 4 potatoes, cubed
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour

Preparation

  • In large saucepan over medium heat, bring rice, chicken, bouillon, onion and water to boil. Remove from heat and pour into slow cooker.
  • Stir in potatoes. Combine milk, flour and acacia and stir until smooth. Stir into soup mixture.
Cook 6-8 hours in crock pot until rice and potatoes are tender and flavors are well blended.

 


Butterscotch Fiber Oatmeal:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 scoops of organic acacia fiber
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine

Preparation

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, brown sugar, organic acacia fiber and egg.
  • Cook, stirring constantly, for 5-7 minutes or until mixture boils. Add oats; cook and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
Add butter; cover and let stand for 3-5 minutes.

 


Butterscotch Fiber Oatmeal:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 scoops of organic acacia fiber
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine

Preparation

  • Cook, stirring constantly, for 5-7 minutes or until mixture boils. Add oats; cook and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
Add butter; cover and let stand for 3-5 minutes.

 


Banana Crumb Fiber Muffins:

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp organic acacia fiber
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 bananas, mashed
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease 10 muffin cups, or line with muffin papers.
  • In a large bowl, mix together 1 1/2 cups flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat together bananas, sugar, egg and melted butter.
  • Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture just until moistened. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.
  • In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, 2 tbsp organic acacia fiber and cinnamon. Cut in 1 tbsp butter until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Sprinkle topping over muffins.

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center of muffin comes out clean.
